Summer over and Autumn has started and I have a pop up cate at The Sunday School on Beckside in Staithes for the Arts and Heritage Festival on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th September I will be open from 10am to 5pm offering cafe staples and of course some interesting snacks and hot food come along and also see a great exhibition of Ian Burkes art. On Friday 24th and Saturday 25th of October it will be Lisa@The Gallery in Staithes again our very popular seasonal dinner please contact Al at the Gallery to book your place the menu will be posted soon.

Well it is finally here summer and all that it brings, hopefully lots of outdoor eating and celebrations. We have been doing a lot of catering for holiday cottages who are having family get togethers and birthday celebrations so if you are renting a cottage in the area and want private dinning , some meals delivered or some frozen meals have a look at the web site and give me a ring on 01947 841321I would be very happy to help. Our Summer Lisa@TheGallery will take place on Friday 4th July and Saturday 5th July and although it is the weekend of American Independence celebrations I decided instead to have a lovely summer menu celebrating all that is great about this time of year and what Yorkshire has to offer so here is the menu.

I am making my travels to Gurnsey for the summer cooking for a family and will be away from the end of July till the beginning of September but will always be available by email or by phone if you need to get in touch. I will be at the Staithes Art and Heritage weekend with my pop up cafe at the Sunday School Gallery on Beckside on 13th &14th September. The Autumn Lisa@TheGallery will be on 24th 25th October and you can make a reservation on the numbers above.

Happy New Year to you all hope you all had a good time and enjoyed lots of good food, I had a wonderful time with my parents at Christmas and New Year at a friends new venture The Fox Inn at Roxby great food. You may all be a bit flat now that everything is over and not a lot to look forward too but time to put this in your diary and make a reservation for the next pop up restaurant at Staithes Gallery on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th January with a Burns Inspired menu. Seasons Greetings

Well December is finally here and a new year is only a few weeks away ,another year to look forward to ,and lots of culinary challenges ahead .If you are requiring anything over the next few weeks let me know by phone 01947 841321 or by email lisaechapman@btinternet.com I will try to fill all your orders. My popular special mince pies, sweet pastry ,deep filled with vegetarian homemade mincemeat, and topped with almond macaroon are available for £1.90 for 4 or £5.20 per dozen delicious . Autumn

We are having a wonderful beginning to October in the North East and I am enjoying my free time. The Staithes Art & Heritage weekend was a great success and extremely busy and it was so good to see many familiar faces I look forward to next years events. Well it’s here this weekend and I will be operating a ” Pop up Cafe ” at Singing Waters which is on the High Street just before the Cod and Lobster. I will be open from 10 am to 5.30 pm on both days and shall be selling beverages ,sweet homemade treats, light savoury snacks suitable at any time of the day but great at lunch time, salads and some more substantial main course dishes. We are in a great venue and will have access to a verandah overlooking the harbour weather permitting but it looks as if it will not rain so bring a coat so you can enjoy the view. I look forward to welcoming you all and I am sure you will enjoy all the artists work that will be on view in 75 locations.
